As the transport sector will be the driver of the world economy due to DLT

Written by forex

In the previous article we spoke about how countries are preparing for the transition to an Autonomous transport system, as well as the obvious leaders of this race of technology. Now we will talk about fiction in the field of transport that breaks into our lives now, and how it will change the status quo of the leaders of the world economy.

Will look like a flying car

German Daimler has invested 25 million in a promising project E-Volvo, which promises the world to create two-seat electric aircraft Volokopter. This passenger quadcopter electric vehicles with vertical take-off and landing. Testing of transport aircraft with 18 screws will start next year.

A Slovak company AeroMobil introduced the world to the production version of its flying car and announced the beginning of gathering pre-orders on the cars which owners will be able to obtain as early as 2020. The price of flying machine — about $1.3 million the Manufacturer promises to release 500 copies of “avtomatom”.

Lilium Aviation in 2017 in Germany has successfully tested the first ever double of the electric vehicle with vertical takeoff and speeds up to 300 km/h. And the Israeli company Tactical Robotics prepares us CityHawk flying taxi can accommodate up to four people. The miracle machine is able to take off vertically like a helicopter, but it is equipped with a jet engine on hydrogen fuel. The flying car will use Urban Aeronautics patented Fancraft technology, thanks to which the rotor blades will be installed inside, not outside like helicopters. This will allow “autolite” to land and take off from almost any surface without exposing any blades. However, development will have to wait another five years.

Transport drone-taxi develops a Chinese company EHang. Flying Ehang 184 moves through the air only on a pre-planned route, which the passenger enters on the tablet is the only governing body of this flying transport.

“The world’s first production flying car” from the Dutch company PAL-V can already booked. The company reported in February 2017, although all the properties of the device more reminiscent of a compact helicopter.

Retocar VIJAY, a developer of robotics and Autonomous aircraft and ground vehicles, the experience of which over ten years, shared his predictions about the development of the transport of a new era in residence interview Bitnewstoday.ru: “the Market for flying cars is gaining momentum as among the manufacturers of flying cars and players active in this direction. Through some key breakthroughs in battery technology and methods of VTOL (vertical takeoff and landing) there are about 7 well-funded startups, and certain players are working in this direction. These include: Uber, Airbus, CityHawk, Lilium, and eVolo Volocopter”.

As you can see, today it is not fully automated and sophisticated models, however, according to VIJAY, gradually automated VTOL capabilities make it much more viable in the long term.

“Top Autonomous flying car will be huge, and this is a real revolution. Meanwhile, the focus needs to be on the ecosystem development among original equipment manufacturers and mobile players (manufacturers of cars), which started with Uber when the company agreed with the 4-5 original equipment manufacturers for flying machines. But the most important thing we should pay attention to is regulation of all these processes,” – tells us the developer Retocar VIJAY.

Also, according to him, Australia and Africa are open to testing these vehicles. He added, however, that even though flying cars and similar to drones delivering parcels, they will face much bigger problems that relate to norms and rules of the road. Testing and development are in strict confidence, and experts know a lot more about our future than we can imagine and may already be fully defined it.

As share of the world markets

Craig FULLER, Director of communications Transport Block chain Alliance (Alliance Transport in the Blockchain, then BiTA) in an exclusive interview for Bitnewstoday.ru reported that, according to estimates BiTA, the DLT technology in transport will be widely accepted by 2026 and will be an integral part of the system of transportation. The expert also added that the introduction of technologies of the distributed registry can radically change the transport sector: “In one segment of the industry (e.g., sea, truck or train) can take the technology of distributed databases faster than in other sector. In may 2017 Deloitte tweeted that the best DLT-applications will be 10% of world GDP. This is a huge and ambitious statement was made because of the ability of technology to influence society and transform it. With regard to logistics and transport, they could potentially have a huge impact on this global industry worth $8 trillion”.

Greg KERR, the founder of the “green” DLT-company, in an exclusive interview for Bitnewstoday.ru he shared his opinion that the West will contribute to a favorable policy scale distributed technologies, which, as we have seen, will form the basis of Autonomous transport system of any city and any country. “Considering California as a small country, we can say that business in Silicon valley goes to this technology and is rapidly overtaking its competitors in the world. Highly centralized one-party system such as Russia and China will deal with the distributed nature of the technologies and create policies that will ultimately expand the influence of the state actually losing the maximum benefit from the technology.

Developing countries such as India, Nigeria, Ethiopia, where these systems are weak, ineffective or non-existent, have the greatest potential for rapid mass adoption”
, — said the former analyst of the Pentagon.

However, according to Sloan BRACEVILLE, co-founder of transport logistics company based on the technology of open distributed registry, the revolution of automated systems and AI, most likely, will begin in China and spread further around the world. In his opinion, this country is miles ahead thanks to government programs, such as face detection.

In an exclusive interview for Bitnewstoday.ru Sloan BRAMWELL, which also launched the DLT-IBM confirmed the predictions of many experts regarding the fact that full automation of vehicles will be completed by 2040. While expressing a view which was also expressed by KERR regarding the fact that some countries hamper the development of technology deliberately: “We are already seeing a trend of automation, but many of the leaders of the Old world benefit from its absence. As the replacement of world leaders we will see the growth of automation. There are already fully automated marine terminals, but we are still far from creating infrastructure that will be required for automation roads, rail and air transport”.

Craig FULLER believes that the improvement and automation of transport infrastructure in the coming decades will inevitably accelerate the development of the economy as a whole. The expert also added that these changes can have a negative impact on some sectors of the economy that will lose the status quo or simply disappear.

In this case what comes first: the technology will be to lead, or the market will set the demand for the new technology? Automation companies will give a new direction for economic development? Here experts are considering opportunities on both sides.

KERR argues that the development of technology will be stipulated by the needs of the market, the state policy and regulation. He adds that the future economy will reward efforts with positive effects on the human condition and the environment. “Automated transport will be much more effective than modern systems managed by man. It will reduce the amount of waste and maximize resources” — sums up the expert.

Sloan BRAMWELL believes that this process of interaction between technology development and economic growth are interdependent. According to him, the automation will lead to reduction of logistics costs, which will positively affect the entire trade in General, and access to consumer goods. The expert suggests that the autonomy of transport is likely to lead to a new industrial revolution.
